The regular monthly meeting will be held on April 4, 2024. Social gathering at 6:30 pm with the meeting to follow at 7:00 pm. The featured education segment is a presentation on boat fire safety.
Boat Fire Safety
Glyn Day from Summit Fire & Security will be our featured speaker for April 4. Glynn will bring multiple fire extinguishers for our members to activate (different types).. These will be regular training extinguishers that only have a Nitrogen charge, rather than dry chemical powder (which would make a mess). Members can practice with the sample extinguishers to learn the proper procedure and safest way to discharge a hand held extinguisher.
Glynn will also present the different agents in different extinguishers and the proper use of each along with characteristics, facts, and training
