This is not a race\, and all sizes of b oats are welcome.  Use a boat to visit five pre-determined locations in P unta Gorda and pick up an envelope containing a playing card at each stop. \n\nPGIslanders and their guests are welcome\, and you can have multiple p articipants on a boat. Each person that pays the $5 entry fee gets an enve lope at each dock.  (Payment will be done in person\, not through ClubExp ress).\n\nIf you don’t have a boat\, or are unable to use your boat\, yo u’re welcome to ride with other participants. If you’re using your boa t and are willing to take passengers\, please let us know and how many you can take. If you would like a ride\, let us know that\, too.  The more o n the boat\, the merrier.\n\nMembers handing out cards are also eligible t o collect a hand if they pay the $5 entry fee. Those not wishing to travel by boat can still collect a hand by registering and paying the entry fee. \n\n***BONUS There may be opportunities to improve your hand with extra ca rds throughout dinner (e.g. by bringing an entry in the chili cookoff\; an swering nautical\, poker or chili questions correctly…)\n\nDetails will be sent to participants\, including location of docks where you will colle ct the playing cards. Visiting docks begins at 2:00 pm on February 28 foll owed by a Chili Cookoff Dinner at 5:30 PM at the PGICA pavilion.  Other s uggested food contributions to this event include corn bread\, shredded ch eese\, sour cream\, rice\, dessert.  Bring your cards\, play them right a nd see how good a poker hand you have. The best hand wins!
