 \nJoin us 6:30 PM for Pizza\, followed by\nthe Meeting and Education Segme
 nt\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe PGIslanders meet at 7pm on the first Thursday of every 
 month at the Punta Gorda Civic Association. Please join us...it's a great 
 way to get to know the PGIslanders and learn about our activities!\n\nWe'l
 l be reviewing upcoming cruises and social events\, followed by our Educat
 ion Segment. Boating education covering a broad range of boating topics in
 cluding safety\, boat maintenance\, electronics\, insurance\, cruising\, a
 nd navigation is a component of most monthly meetings.  We often invite l
 ocal experts and community leaders as guest speakers to share their knowle
 dge and experience with us.\n\nOur 50/50 raffle will be held\, so please b
 ring cash (small bills) to participate in this fun\, and potentially rewar
 ding\, activity.\n\nIf you would like to join us for pizza provided by the
  club before the meeting starts\, you MUST Register 2 days prior to the me
 eting so we can get a headcount for the pizza order. \n\nRegistration link
  is:\n\nPizza is served at 6:30pm. Bring your own beverage.\n\nEducation S
 egment\nCompetitive Sailing on Charlotte Harbor\n&nbsp\;\n\nJim Nusso from
  Isles Yacht Club along with John Humphries and Greg Robins from the Punta
  Gorda Sailing Club will discuss sailboat racing on Charlotte Harbor.\n\nI
 sles Yacht Club runs a series of races for one-design Harbor 20 boats\, wh
 ile the Punta Gorda Sailing Club runs a series of races for PHRF rated boa
 ts.\n\nThey'll discuss the upcoming season and how folks can get involved 
 either with their boats or as crew.\n\n&nbsp\;
