DESCRIPTION:\n&nbsp\;\nThe regular monthly meeting will be held on May 2\, 
 2024. Social gathering at 6:30 pm with the meeting to follow at 7:00 pm. T
 he featured education segment is a presentation on underwater exploration 
 along the east coast of the US.\n&nbsp\;\nMaritime Archaeology- Volunteer 
 Adventures in the Mid-Atlantic\n&nbsp\;\nIsabel Mack and her husband\, Kir
 k Pierce\, have been participating as scuba divers in underwater archeolog
 y since 2006 through a volunteer group called Institute of Maritime Histor
 y\, which is based in southern Maryland but has conducted projects all ove
 r the East Coast on behalf of local\, state\, and Federal agencies.  The 
 two have worked on projects in Florida\, Virginia\, and Delaware\, as well
  as Maryland. The presentation will provide history and highlights from a 
 few of the projects and touch briefly on the legal aspects of treasure hun
 ting.\n\n\nSee you there!\n
