 n&nbsp\;\n\nOn Thursday\, June 5\, we’ll hold our Monthly Member Meeting
 \, where we’ll be reviewing upcoming cruises and social events\, followe
 d by our Education Segment.\n\nAs part of our June meeting\, we’ll be se
 rving pizza. Please bring your own beverages. If you’ll be at the meetin
 g\, please help us with ordering enough pizza letting us know how many are
  coming. If you wish to enjoy the pizza\, it’s very important you RSVP b
 y Tuesday\, June 3.\n\nOur 50/50 raffle will be held\, so please bring cas
 h (small bills) to participate in this fun\, and potentially rewarding\, a
 ctivity.\n\n&nbsp\;\nEducation Segment\nFlorida FWC and the Recreational B
 oater\n\nBradley Johnson\nPublic Information Officer\nFlorida Fish and Wil
 dlife Conservation Commission\n\n\nOur speaker this month is Bradley Johns
 on of Florida FWC. FWC has a number of roles related to our sort of recrea
 tional boating\, and the speaker will address a variety of topics.\n\n* Ge
 neral info on what FWC does for boaters\, emergency response\, enforcement
 \n\n* Boating Freedom Act: just signed by Gov. and what it means for law e
 nforcement\n\n* PLB &amp\; EPIRB - how FWC receives and coordinates with C
 oast Guard or local responders\n\n* Bloopers\, funny events\, and dangerou
 s situations they have had to deal with.\n\n\nBradley was born and raised 
 in Lee County\, and has been assigned to this area since joining FWC. He i
 s very familiar with the local waterways conditions we encounter in our cr
 uises.\n\nThis should be an interesting and informational segment.\n\nSee
