For the First Sunday of this monthly cruise. 9 PGIslanders braved cool temperatures to raft up from two until 4:30 to enjoy good food and conversations. Gary & Mary hosted everybody on their boat. Conversations on the guys said went from new davits for Bill Schardt Mainship 34. Bill also told a story about his former boat was a Gemini and he new a couple that sailed a similar Gemini around the world. And that a Gemini is not usually considered a blue water boat. We gave the women their privacy but it did sound lively. Gary gave everybody who was interested in a tour of his trawler. Gary & Mary where gracious host & hostesss. There where lots of food and laughs.
Sunset Lake is a spacious anchorage so, “Come one, come all” to the Sunset Lake Raft Up on March 1st at 2PM. Captain Steve will provide an “extra large” trophy to the boat that attends the most Sunday Raft Ups this year!
