ECHO Farms Tour & Lunch

Event Date:
Saturday, January 25, 2020
The tour to ECHO Global Farm and lunch at Rosy Tomorrows Heritage Farm was attended by 12 PGIslanders and 4 guests.  Feed back was positive about what we saw and learned.  Some of the members are already planning a return trip to hear about the types of tools developed for this subsistence population.  Others are planning to bring guests there in future.

Lunch at Rosy Tomorrows was delicious and clean plates all around testified to the approval.  This restaurant nestled in the midst of the farm is a pleasant pastoral environment to enjoy a really gourmet meal and stroll around to see the animals that reside close enough to enjoy.  The gardens feature some of the plants that we learned about at ECHO.

Many of our members were happy to experience both places for the first time and were pleased that we had such unique and enjoyable options so close to us.
